D2 Technologies’ chief operating officer, Doug Makishima, is a panel speaker at LTE Asia 2012, held at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore this week. During the panel presentation, “Ensuring Operators Are Ready for Future LTE Devices/Services” today at 4:40 p.m., Makishima will discuss how carriers can utilize rich communications provided by IMS-based VoLTE and RCS to provide a better user experience and to create new revenue-generating opportunities.

Other panel presenters include Thomas Eyring, head of test case development for Rohde & Schwarz (News - Alert), Trio Adiono, LTE R&D coordinator for Indonesia’s Ministry of Communications and Information, and Robert Synnestvedt, RAN backhaul lead, global mobile business development manager for Cisco.
