Starting today, ASUS's new tablet VivoTab RT will be available for customers through AT&T.
Priced at $499.99, AT&T will be the first and only U.S. carrier to offer the new LTE (News - Alert)-capable tablet from ASUS this holiday shopping season. Along with this, the buyers will also get a free Mobile Dock with a keyboard and an additional battery.
"The ASUS VivoTab RT will give consumers and business customers an optimized touch interface and live tile updates with PC capabilities," said Chris Penrose, senior vice president, AT&T Emerging Devices. "With this tablet, we're giving customers the opportunity to connect the first Windows RT tablet with 4G LTE connectivity, and for as low as $10 per month, with AT&T's (News
- Alert) new Mobile Share plans. It's portable and very affordable."
Sporting a stunning metallic design, VivoTab RT is 0.33 inches thin and weighs about 1.18lbs. This trendy tablet comes with NVIDIA (News - Alert) Tegra 3 quad-core processor and 12-core graphics, with high-resolution 10.1" (1366x768) Super IPS+ display that offers a remarkably vivid and brilliant viewing experience of photos, videos and more.
VivoTab RT also includes a 2MP front camera for instant photos or HD video conferencing with friends and 8MP rear camera with LED flash and auto-focus.
In addition, AT&T customers can get lucky and receive $100 off the ASUS VivoTab RT if they buy any Windows smartphone and an additional $100 off any tablet, purchased at an AT&T company owned store or online at www.att.com with a two-year data plan agreement.
Interested can buy the new ASUS VivoTab RT in AT&T company-owned retail stores nationwide and online at www.wireless.att.com.
