Multimedia and communication technologies company Imagination Technologies (News - Alert) has unveiled the HelloSoft (News - Alert) Rich Communications Suite (RCS) Client, based upon the latest release of the HelloSoft V.VoIP mobile and embedded SDKs. This comprehensive and ready-to-deploy client solution supports a wide range of platforms and devices, according to Imagination technologies.

The move is aimed at combining RCS and VoLTE services to create enhanced customer experience, based on more flexible and frequent communication. This enhanced multimedia solution is expected to help strengthen the mobile operator’s relationship with their customers.

Imagination’s HelloSoft RCS enables high quality voice and video calling with multimedia content sharing capabilities. It also offers enhanced address book/contacts, and messaging (SMS/MMS) over MSRP capabilities.

Compliant with GSMA (News - Alert) RCS 5.0/5.1, IR.92 VoLTE standards, HelloSoft RCS integrates all features of the latest release of HelloSoft’s V.VoIP (Video and Voice over IP) SDK, according to a news statement.

HelloSoft V.VoIP mobile and embedded SDKs provides complete V.VoIP functionality and interfaces to basic and enterprise call features. It allows for user interface customization and supports multiple platforms.

Other key capabilities include multihome session support (logging into multiple devices using the same profile) with synchronized presence and support for login to multiple devices simultaneously, seamless handoff and XDM and XCAP implementation per OMA (Open Mobile (News - Alert) Alliance) and 3GPP standards.

The RCS client enables video sharing during a circuit switched call while audio is still in CS (circuit switching) mode and supports live video or video play from a local file.

A year ago, Imagination Technologies introduced the latest in its HelloSoft 4G V.VoIP and VoLTE solutions for smartphones, tablets, and mobile computing devices to Embedded Technology in Yokohama, Japan.
