Home to approximately 3,400 listed companies worth $6 trillion in market cap whose innovations shape our world, The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. welcomed YY Inc. into its fold on Nov. 21, 2012.

NASDAQ is home to 76 percent of information technology companies listed on U.S. markets, and by listing on its stock market, YY Inc. joined the impressive group.

As only companies that have a solid background and figure in the top bracket can trade on NASDAQ, apparently YY Inc.’s performance has been more than satisfactory.

Based in China, YY launched its core product in 2008; by September 2012, YY had attracted 400.5 million registered users and in the first nine months of 2012, users spent 393 billion voice minutes on YY Client.

YY allows users the opportunity to create and organize groups of varying sizes and also participate in a wide range of online activities, including online games, karaoke, music concerts, education, live shows and conference calls
